Industry Defense Fund
BOMA/Chicago maintains a member-driven Industry Defense Fund (IDF) to support special advocacy efforts. For example, these funds are used to respond to legislation, regulatory rule-making, utility filings, and litigation that threaten to have a substantial impact on the industry; to conduct research on property taxation or other advocacy-related topics; and to develop community and civic partnerships in support of the Association’s mission.
The IDF is supported by voluntary member contributions and ensures that adequate funds are available to give a voice to the commercial real estate industry as BOMA/Chicago advances critical advocacy priorities.
For more information about the IDF, contact Amy Masters, Director of Government and External Affairs, at amasters@crewbar.net.
